University Affairs, Canadian Grocer, CPA Magazine among big winners at 61st Kenneth R. Wilson Awards

Last night in Toronto the Canadian Business Media Association presented the 61st annual Kenneth R. Wilson Awards, recognizing excellence in business-to-business magazine publishing in Canada.

The KRW Awards have kicked off Magazine Week in Toronto. Events continue this week with the Canadian Society of Magazine Editors (CSME) holding its editors’ choice awards gala on June 3, followed by the Circulation Marketing Association of Canada CMC Awards for circulation excellence on June 4, and finally the 38th annual National Magazine Awards gala on Friday June 5.

Gold, Silver and Honourable Mention awards were presented in 21 written, visual and special categories during the KRW Awards gala at the Grand Banking Hall at One King West in Toronto, hosted by John Milne, President of Breakwell & Company and VP of Media Services at Equisoft.

CPA Magazine led all publications with 6 awards, including gold medals for Best Issue, Best Merchandising or Marketing Article and Best Profile of a Person. Professionally Speaking landed 5 awards, followed by University Affairs, with 4 awards.
